Chris and Julia were feeling left out of me and Al's wall-o-windows gang so they made a wall-o-doors to enclose their sleeping loft
and started unpacking and putting up the last of what remained from their boxes onto the minty wall...AND moved the fish tank (lower left) to this wall making for nice ambient lighting in the evening! Looking like a home!
Jacob helped Julia set up this frame, a project from ReadyMade which we then put a bunch of succulents into. It's on the floor for now so the plants can root into the soil and moss, but it will get hung on the minty wall.
We got rid of the leftover wood pile that was monopolizing space in the living room so we could reconfigure it
in the boxes she unpacked was a bunch of kitchen stuff that got put up: 3 shelves (including one with things to hang pots from), spice rack, magnetic knife holder, and really cool bulk food storage things I can't really explain.
Also, behind the boxes that were unpacked was a better table for setting up the sewing machines! So the craft corner is more comfortable
